How long does a boost take
The order starts within 15 minutes of payment, but the overall time depends on the range, the rank and the format. We break down what speeds a boost up and what slows it down, why the top of the table runs longer and how to hit the deadline you need.
Short answer
There's no exact "time per MMR" — a boost runs for exactly as many matches as it takes to clear your range. The order itself starts within 15 minutes of payment, and from there the speed depends on three things: the size of the range, the height of the rank and the format (solo or duo).
A small range in a mid rank in the solo format closes the fastest; high ranks and duo run longer. The exact estimate for your range is given in chat, and progress is visible in your dashboard in real time.
What affects the speed
The time is driven by the same factors as the price — that's no coincidence:
| Factor | Effect on speed |
|---|---|
| Size of the range | Depends — more points, more matches |
| Height of the rank | Slows it — longer games, fewer points |
| Solo format | Speeds it — only the booster sets the pace |
| Duo format | Depends — limited by your time |
| Urgent / turbo mode | Speeds it — the order gets priority |
| Losing streaks at the start | Depends — sometimes a dip must be played back |
The difference between solo and duo affects the timeline the most — the formats are compared in detail in the solo boost or duo boost guide.
Speed by rank
The higher the rank, the longer each 100 MMR takes. This isn't about specific hours but about relative pace — and it naturally slows toward the top of the table:
| Range | Pace |
|---|---|
| Herald — Crusader | Fast — points come easily |
| Archon — Legend | Brisk — steady gains |
| Ancient | Medium — games get tougher |
| Divine | Slower — matches run longer |
| Immortal calibration | The longest — every point counts |
Why the rating "gets heavier" toward the top and how many points a win grants is covered in the how MMR is calculated guide. What each range costs is in the how much it costs to raise MMR guide.
How to speed up a boost
If the deadline is tight, the pace can genuinely be raised — here are the working levers:
- Take solo over duo. In solo only the booster sets the pace, with no one else's schedule to wait on — it's the fastest format.
- Enable urgent mode. Turbo puts your order on priority, and the booster gives it more playing time.
- Split the goal. A smaller range closes faster and is easier to plan around your timeline.
- For duo — free up time. The more windows for joint games, the faster the progress.
If you have a hard deadline, tell us in chat before ordering. We'll estimate a realistic timeframe for your range and suggest which format and mode will fit it.
How to track progress
You won't be waiting "blind" — the order is visible at every stage:
- Start in 15 minutes. After payment the order goes to a free booster and is picked up.
- Progress in your dashboard. Your dashboard shows the current MMR and movement through the range.
- 24/7 contact. A question about timing or a pause — message us in chat any time.
An order can be paused and resumed later — your rating and progress are saved.
FAQ
How long does an MMR boost take?
There's no single timeframe — it depends on the size of the range, the height of the rank and the format. The order itself starts within 15 minutes of payment. A small range in a mid rank closes quickly, while a big climb toward the top of the table stretches over days. The exact estimate for your range is given in chat.
Why are high ranks slower to boost?
Closer to Divine and Immortal, games are longer and harder, and a win grants fewer points. So the same rating gain takes more matches and more time in a high rank than in Crusader or Archon.
Which is faster — solo or duo?
Solo is faster: the pace depends only on the booster, who plays at a convenient rhythm. In duo you play yourself, so the speed is limited by your free time and by the fact that you can lose some matches.
Can a boost be sped up?
Yes. Choose the solo format over duo, enable the urgent (turbo) mode, take a smaller range, and for duo free up time for games in advance. Progress is visible in your dashboard in real time the whole way.
