What MMR boosting is

MMR boosting is a service where an experienced player helps raise your rating in Dota 2. There are three ways to do it: the booster plays instead of you, plays alongside you, or teaches you to play better. The format you choose determines the speed, the price and how much benefit you get beyond the rating itself.

Three boost formats

Each format solves its own task:

FormatWho playsWho it suits
Solo boostBooster on your accountYou need the result: rank, medal, lobby access
Party boostYou + booster in a groupYou want to grow your skill during the boost
CoachingYou play, the trainer guidesThe goal is to learn to play better
  • Solo boost — the fastest and most affordable. The booster plays on your account in invisible mode. The gameplay experience stays with them, but the result comes fastest.
  • Party boost — you play on your own account in the same group as the booster (a markup on the base price). There is no account access handover, and you learn from a strong player along the way.
  • Coaching format — focused on review and growth: you play yourself while the trainer guides you and breaks down your mistakes. This is closer to full coaching and delivers a long-term result.

How a boost goes step by step

From order to finished result:

  1. You pick the service and parameters: current and target rank, role, mode (solo or party).
  2. You place the order and pay in a convenient way.
  3. Within 5-15 minutes a booster is assigned and the work begins.
  4. Invisible mode is on: the booster plays offline, friends see you as offline.
  5. Progress is visible online — you watch every match in real time.
  6. Once the goal is reached the boost ends. We recommend changing your password after the work.

Invisible mode and safety

The main protection in a solo boost is invisible mode. It is on by default and free: the booster goes offline, so in your contact list you stay offline, and the pace of wins stays natural, with no suspicious KDA swings.

No cheats and no scripts — just live play by a strong booster. A detailed breakdown of what accounts actually get sanctioned for and what they don't is in the guide is MMR boosting safe.

What affects price and timeframes

The cost is calculated transparently and is made up of several factors:

  • How much MMR to raise — the gap between your current and target rating. The base price is per 100 MMR.
  • Mode — a party boost is more expensive than solo, because you play while the booster guides.
  • Rank — the higher the rating, the more expensive each step: games are harder at high ranks.
  • Add-ons — for example, speed-up or choosing a specific role.

FAQ

How does solo boosting differ from party boosting?

In a solo boost the booster plays on your account — it is faster and cheaper, but the gameplay experience stays with them. In a party boost you play on your own account in a group with the booster: more expensive and slower, but you are in the game yourself and learn along the way, with no account access handover.

Will my friends see that I'm being boosted?

No. The invisible option is on by default and free: the booster plays in offline mode, and in your contact list you stay offline. The pace of wins is natural, with no suspicious swings.

How quickly does a boost start and progress?

A booster is assigned within 5-15 minutes after checkout. After that the speed depends on the volume and mode — a solo boost goes fastest, up to a significant MMR gain per day. Progress is visible online in real time.

Which boost format should I choose?

If you only need the result (rank, medal, lobby access) — take a solo boost. If you want to grow your skill along the way — a party boost. If your goal is specifically to learn to play better, the coaching format with a trainer is the right fit.
